This month's installment of Tampa Bay Bass Player Night at Sam Ash will be a chance for all of us to be creative. If you haven't already done so pick two of the four backing tracks from soundcloud, come up with your own bass part (the chord progression is in the description). Share your bass part with the group and describe your process. How did you arrive at your part? Did you lock in with the drums? Were you thinking of a particular band or bassist? Would you like feedback from the group?
It's going to be a lot of fun! Don't worry about playing your creation in front of everyone. We're there to help each other and we all need a little help now and then.
